Frequently asked questions

Can you embroider flame resistant coats?
Yes. We embroider FR work and shop coats with FR-compatible thread, not standard polyester thread. We stitch on the garment as supplied and do not alter how it is made.
Can you print a logo on FR coats instead?
No. On flame resistant garments we embroider only. Screen printing and heat transfer are not offered on this range, so we will size and place embroidery to carry your mark instead.
Are these medical lab coats?
No. These are industrial flame-resistant work and shop coats for utility, oil and gas, and plant crews. If you need embroidered medical lab coats, see our lab coat collection instead.
What is the difference between FR coats and FR jackets on your site?
Coats here are hip-length work and shop coats with a lapel collar and front pockets. FR jackets are a separate collection of parkas, bombers and hooded outerwear. Both can take a logo where we embroider FR garments.
Where does the logo go on an FR coat?
Usually the left chest, clear of the collar and pocket flap. On styles with a chest pocket, the logo sits above the pocket so the flap still closes. We confirm placement on your proof.
Can we reorder the same coat for new hires?
Yes. We keep your approved logo file and its placement on record, so a reorder matches what your crew already wears. Corporate programs can reorder by email.
